Swatch & Review - Frontcover Cosmetics products

     Hello, ladies.

     A week ago I received a few products for testing from Frontcover Cosmetics, which I want to thank. I tested them and today I want to talk to you about them. But first of all I have to say I was pleasantly surprised of how with the Frontcover’s promptitude: I got the products five days after we first talked, given that two of those days were weekend.

     And now let’s talk about the products.

     Acum o saptamana am primit spre testare cateva produse de la Frontcover Cosmetics, carora le multumesc. Le-am testat, iar astazi a venit timpul sa va vorbesc despre ele. Inainte de toate trebuie sa va spun ca am fost placut surprinsa de promptitudinea celor de la Frontcover: am primit produsele la cinci zile dupa ce am vorbit prima data, in conditiile in care doua zile au reprezentat weekend-ul.

     Iar acum sa vorbim despre produse.

     I received two eyeshadows, two lipsticks and two sets of nail stickers. I tried them all and I liked some of them, but others didn’t impress me much.

     Am primit spre testare doua farduri, doua rujuri si doua seturi de stickere pentru unghii. Le-am incercat pe toate, unele produse mi-au placut, altele nu m-au impresionat.

     The eyeshadows / Fardurile:

     I got two baked eyeshadows: “Nautical Nymph” and “Vapour Mist”. The fist one is a gorgeous turquoise, with a subtle gold sheen and pearly finish, while the second eyeshadow is silver with metallic finish.

     Both eyeshadows are creamy and really pigmentes, as you’ll see in the swatches. Keep in mind that I didn’t use any eyeshadow or foundation when I swatched the eyedshadows. They blend pretty easy, but they don’t last too long without a primer or an eyeshadow base.

     Am primit doua farduri baked si anume “Nautical Nymp” si “VapourMist”. Primul este un turcoaz superb, cu subtile irizatii aurii si finish perlat, in timp ce al doilea este un argintiu cu finish metalic.
      Ambele farduri cremoase si foarte pigmentate, dupa cum veti vedea si in swatch. De retinut ca le-am aplicat direct pe piele, fara a folosi fond de ten sau primer inainte. Se blenduiesc relativ usor, insa nu rezista prea mult fara un primer sau o baza de machiaj.

     The lipsticks / Rujurile:

     “Cajun Pepper” is a gorgeous bright red, with small gold shimmer (which becomes almost invisible once you apply the product on your lips) and it has a semi-matte finish. I find the shade suitable for day time, but for evening also.

     The product is really creamy, it doesn’t taste funny, it doesn’t dry the lips, it smells like cookies and it lasts around 3 or 4 hours.

     “Sundown” it a bright, intense orange lipstick with a very subtle gold shimmer. Just like “Cajun”, it has a semi-matte finish, it’s creamy, it has no taste, it smelss delicious and it lasts on the lips about 4 hours.

     “Cajun Pepper” este o superba nuanta de rosu deschis, ce contine sclipici auriu(care devine mai putin evident atunci cand aplicati rujul pe buze) si are finish semi-mat. Nuanta mi se pare potrivita pentru a fi purtata atat in timpul zilei, cat si seara.

     Produsul este foarte cremos, nu are gust ciudat, nu usuca buzele, miroase a prajituri si rezista pe buze cam 3-4 ore.

     “Sundown” este un portocaliu intens cu un discret sclipici auriu. La fel ca si “Cajun”, are finish semi-mat, este cremos, nu are gust, are un miros delicios si rezista circa 4 ore.

     Both lipsticks have a big plus: being small, they are perfect to be worn in your bag just in case you want to reapply your lipstick during the day.

     Ambele rujuri au un mare plus: fiind mici, sunt ideale pentru a fi purtate in geanta in caz ca vreti sa reaplicati produsul in timpul zilei. 

     Fiecare ruj costa in mod normal 4 lire, insa acum sunt la reducere si pot fi cumparate cu doar 2 lire de AICI.

     The nail stickers / Abtibildurile pentru unghii:

     I got two sets of nail stickers: one gold and one “halfmoon” – gold with red-brown-ish. I was reallt excited when I received them since I wanted for a while to try up something like this and I was planning to buy some nail stickers of ebay, so these ones came in just in time. Unfortunately, the result wasn’t up to my expectations.

     Am primit doua folii, una aurie si una “half moon” – auriu cu rosu-maroniu. Am fost foarte incantata cand le-am primit pentru ca imi doream de ceva vreme asa ceva si chiar aveam in plan sa cumpar unele de pe ebay, asa ca acestea au picat la fix. Din pacate, rezultatul nu a fost pe masura asteptarilor.

     I tried to apply the “half moon” ones, but either I was to clumsy, either their quality isn’t so good. Anyway, the fact is that I simply couldn’t stick them on to my nails. I couldn’t cut them or file them properly, and when I wanted to take them off they just pealed like I had just some thin paper on my nails.

     Am incercat sa le aplic pe cele “half moon”, insa ori nu am fost eu destul de indemanatica, ori calitatea lor lasa de dorit. Cert este ca nu am reusit sa le lipesc uniform pe unghii sub nicio forma. Nu am putut sa le tai sau sa le pilesc uniform, iar cand am vrut sa le indepartez s-au dezlipit de parca ar fi fost o simpla coala de hartie aplicata pe unghii.
